Custom rifle builds
The builds start with a conversation about what you shoot and where. Then a written spec, a quoted price, and a rifle that gets tested before it gets handed over.
How it goes.
Talk
What you shoot, where, and at what. Rimfire or centrefire, PRS or field, and the budget you actually want to spend. An hour in the shop or a phone call.
A written spec
Action, barrel and profile, chassis, trigger, brake, mounts and glass, each with a price and a lead time. You sign it off before a single part is ordered.
Built and proved
Assembled in the workshop, torqued to spec, and shot on the range before you see it. You collect a rifle with a zero, a load recommendation and a cleaning note.
Questions
- Which actions do you build on?
- Zermatt, Defiance, Impact and Terminus for centrefire; Vudoo and RimX class actions for rimfire. Others on request if they are worth it.
- How long does a build take?
- It is set by the slowest part, usually the barrel or the action. Eight to fourteen weeks is normal. The spec sheet gives you the honest date.
- Do I pay up front?
- A deposit to order the parts, the balance when the rifle is finished and you have shot it.
